September is PCOS Awareness Month

September is PCOS Awareness Month. Please spread the word as many women have the issue and it goes undiagnosed. Let's give women the support, resources, and tools they need! // PCOS Support // PCOS Awareness | PCOSLiving.com

The month of September is PCOS Awareness month. PCOS is probably one of the least recognized and funded conditions out there. We need to change this! To do that we need to start spreading awareness and begin raising money and support for this condition.

Buy a mug and/or shirt in the month of September and a portion of sales will be donated to PCOS Challenge.

Here's a little bit of information about what's going on this month to raise some much-needed awareness.

PCOS Awareness Weekend takes place on September 22 and 23rd in Orlando, Florida.

  • On that Saturday, the PCOS Symposium will take place. This event allows you to listen to top experts (clinicians and researchers) in the PCOS community and to get solutions and real information about PCOS.  It is a day sharing experiences, insights and the latest updates about the condition.
  • On Sunday, there is the Bolt for PCOS 5K Walk/Run. You can either walk or run individually or with a team.  If you can't be there in person, you can be a virtual walker or of course make a donation in your name. The funds that are raised go directly to PCOS research, health screenings, grants, education and support programs, as well as increasing awareness and public support for those with PCOS.

Besides these great events,  you can also participate in the Lemon Face Challenge
