Chicken and Asparagus with Creamy Dijon Sauce

This recipe I am going to share is a life-saver.

When I was making chicken, it seemed boring and bland. It always tasted the same and wasn’t very flavorful. Not exactly what you want for dinner but you know it is a healthy choice. When I would tell my husband we were having chicken for dinner, he was less than enthused. He told me that he wasn’t a huge chicken fan. So I was on a mission to figure out how to make chicken more satisfying yet healthy.

I stumbled upon this recipe in a cookbook that I had borrowed from the library and decided to give it a try. The recipe is easy to follow and make as well as incredibly tasty. In fact, my husband said he wouldn’t mind eating chicken if it was prepared like this. VICTORY!

This recipe has become a go-to in my house. It never fails me. I am eating healthy, and it satisfies my palate. The recipe is titled Chicken and Asparagus with Creamy Dijon Sauce. I will be honest; I don’t like asparagus. Instead, I substitute green beans, and it is just as good.

Since this is not my recipe, I am posting a link to take you to it.  What is nice about this recipe is that it provides nutrition facts as well. You know how many it serves, the calorie count, how many carbs and fats are in a serving. So if you want to experiment with something new that everyone will love (even non-chicken lovers) give it a try.  Click on get the directions here and you will be well on your way!

Enjoy! Let me know what you think of this recipe once you make it!
